A Picture Album (Part 1)

James Patton, chairman of the Walker County Historical Commission, talks about a collection of early photographs of Huntsville and Walker County:

 “This is the Keep Hotel on the morning of March 2, 1934… There was a fireman’s convention meeting there.  The hotel caught on fire and burned up!  That’s a picture of the building on fire.”
