Prom season is almost here! If you are looking for inspiration or for help with how to style your hair yourself, come to the Huntsville Public Library for a free “Updo 101” class taught by Tonya Collum. This two-part class will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15 in the Staggs Community Room. Tonya Collum is the owner of a local hair salon and also teaches cosmetology courses at Huntsville ISD. This program is designed for ages 12 to 18. Participants must bring their own hair care products and tools so they can learn with items they already own. All hair types welcome! Registration is required as space is limited. Teen Film Club
Teens, did you miss a movie in the theater? Are you hungry for pizza? Come to the Teen Film Club at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, February 14th to enjoy a PG-13 movie in the library’s Staggs Community Room. Pizza will be provided but teens are encouraged to bring their own drink in a spill-proof container. Participants must be between the ages of 13 and 18.
